  • Overnight buses to Rishikesh leave from Delhi on an hourly basis.
DAY 1: Arrive at shivpuri
Day 1 of your rafting in Rishikesh adventure starts with your arrival at Bull's Retreat - our forest resort in Shivpuri. A wash and change followed by lunch at Bull's Bistro, our multi-cuisine restaurant. Relax for the day or head out for the evening Ganga Aarti at the Parmarth Ashram - do let us know in advance, we will be happy to arrange a vehicle for you.
DAY 2: DRIVE TO DEVPRAYAG. FIRST DAY OF RAFTING
The Rishikesh White Water Rafting experience starts with a drive to Devprayag - it's a 55 KM journey that should take around two hours. Stop at the confluence point and peer down where the two rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet to form the Ganga. One's green and the other's muddy brown - you can clearly see the points of merging. An ethereal sight! Meet our boats at the rafting start point and get acquainted with the guides who will be your soul mates down the river. Relax, chill and partake of the scrumptious lunch we've packed for you. Load your personal kits onto the raft and get ready for a remarkable river rafting adventure down the Ganga! This is the introductory section and you will face easy Grade I and II rapids on the first day of your Rishikesh rafting expedition - just right to loosen up those lazy city muscles and get you ready for the rapids on Day 2!

Night halt is at Byaas Ghat, a secluded and pristine silver stained beach in the middle of the Ganga gorge. You will stay in expedition tents on twin sharing basis. Our professional guides will set up camp for you (if you want to help, be our guest!) and start a blazing bonfire. After a fun day of rafting in Rishikesh and exercising those muscles it is time to rest and recoup. Warm those wet toes, sip a cup of tea, play some volleyball and then later, dig into a scrumptious meal under the starry skies. A night to remember indeed!
Day 3: RAFT THE BIG ONES TODAY!
Plenty of paddling and swimming on Day 3 of your rafting in Rishikesh adventure. Spot birds, swap stories and just enjoy the floating! We're headed to Kaudiyala first - around 1.5 hours of rafting on the flat sections. The action starts at Kaudiyala! Daniel's Dip is the first big rapid of the day, it looks innocuous but packs quite a punch so don't make the mistake of underestimating it! Your children below 12 years will perforce be made to work around this one, keeping safety protocols in mind.

If you make it through this one without a dunking (and our guides try their best to ensure that you do!), then the mother of them all - The Wall, awaits. Just so you know, the Wall is often a Grade IV rapid and isn't always 'raftable'. Your guide may just decide to walk around it. Listen to him. He knows best. Here too, your children below 12 years will perforce be made to work around this one, keeping safety protocols in mind. You will take around 3.5 to 4 hours to reach Marine Drive. It is here you can choose to either call it a day and head back to Bull's Retreat or you can choose to proceed for another 2.5 hours and take in some really exciting rapids all the way to Shivpuri.

In this section you're going to encounter some of the smaller but exciting rapids on the Ganga. First comes Initiation Cash Flow and then Black Money, after which we'll take a short tea break at Gullar from where all children below 12 will have to get off and will be sent back to Bull's Retreat. The big ones follow now - Three Blind Mice, Cross Fire and Return To Sender - quirky names yes, but once you raft through them, you won't forget them!

With this you come to the end of your expedition on the Ganga and return to Bull's Retreat for a hot shower, a blazing bonfire, barbecue snacks and an awesome farewell dinner - the perfect recipe for a fantastic evening! Overnight at Bull's Retreat or campsite.
DAY 4: RAFT SHIVPURI DOWN AND HEAD BACK HOME
There's still a few big one's to ride today - Golf Course and Roller Coaster are the perfect rapids to cap an exciting rafting adventure. A quick breakfast and you're on the river again. It's a 2-hour rapid ride till NIM beach, where we may lay out some hot lunch for you and pitch a few changing tents -  if you're in a hurry to head back home. The city lights are calling - back to reality, with stories that will stay with you for a lifetime!
